Dr Jerrett Stephenson

Dr. Jerrett Stephenson is excited to be joining the team at EB Medical where he can continue his passion of providing evidence-based, longitudinal medical care for patients.

He obtained his medical degree from the University of Alberta in 2013 and completed his residency in Rural Family Medicine through the University of Calgary (Lethbridge site) in 2015. After working as a rural locum throughout Alberta for a year, he settled into full-time clinical family practice in Lethbridge, Alberta in 2016.

Dr. Stephenson has a love for teaching and has been involved in training medical students and residents since 2019 through his position as a Clinical Lecturer with the University of Calgary. In recognition of his teaching feedback for family physicians, he has received the Family Medicine Assessment Award.

He is a strong proponent of the value of comprehensive primary care that follows patients throughout their journeys in life. He has served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Chinook Primary Care Network (in southwest Alberta) and worked with the Alberta Medical Association as the South Zone Physician Champion to help foster positive change in the healthcare system.

Dr. Stephenson is looking forward to enjoying all the outdoor activities that Kelowna offers, especially going hiking with his wife and dog as well as hitting the ski slopes in the winter.
